We may tend to have preconceived opinions about things and people. A good example of this is with children. As adults, we may feel that we "know better" than they do, because we are older, have more experience, etc.
However, it would serve us well to remember that they too are divine beings in their own right, and they have things to teach us... things we perhaps knew at their age but that we have forgotten for one reason or another.
When we are open to learning from others... whether children, animals, or other adults, whatever their rank or education, we become more and more in tune with the Universe and ready to receive the messages and guidance that are presented to us through the voices of those around us, big or small.
