Our society, especially in cities, has become impersonal. People, out in public, don't speak to each other and don't even really look at each other. When eye contact is made, people often quickly look away as if they've done something wrong.
However, perhaps in these days of having half our face covered with a mask, connecting through the eyes has become even more important. After all, you can't see the person's mouth to see if they are smiling, so the next best way to decipher what a person is expressing is by looking at their eyes.
This will open a more intimate and honest connection between you and the other. If the eyes are the window to the soul, be willing to "bare your soul" by letting your eyes make contact with others. And then, let the magic and openness begin.
