Marie T. Russell's Daily Inspiration
The focus for today is: I express my anger appropriately.
Anger is a human emotion, and we've all experienced anger at some point. But there are two types of anger: ethical anger and violent anger. What's the difference?
With ethical anger we express our anger and emotions appropriately and with full awareness of the consequences. Violent anger, on the other hand, has no regard for consequences.
Violence is not necessarily just physical. It is any behavior or thought that is harmful whether emotionally, physically, or mentally. Nonviolence is the opposite. It is any behavior or thought that promotes self-awareness, health, and growth.
So today, let's choose to express our anger ethically and appropriately.
