The focus for today is: I choose to live my life so I will have no regrets.
One of the greatest regrets of my life is not having been able to say goodbye to people I loved before they died.
Sometimes that is unavoidable, as in the case of accidental deaths, but in some cases we may be uncomfortable with facing death and mortality. And thus we delay or avoid the conversation...until it is too late.
As with anything in life, we are best served to live our life so that we will have no regrets. And that has to do with daily living as well as the illnesses of loved ones. Being able to discuss the death that is looming around the corner may be the greatest gift to give a loved one, and ourselves.
