Marie T. Russell's Daily Inspiration
The focus for today is: I let go of struggle and resistance.
We humans have somehow, somewhere along the line, adopted the belief that if it's easy then it's "too good to be true". Somehow, if something is a struggle or difficult to achieve, it means more, it makes it more valuable to us.
What that attitude essentially means is that everything in our life becomes a struggle, a challenge, instead of just flowing like a river. A river does not hammer against the rocks in order to get them out of its way. It just flows around the obstacles and keeps on its journey.
So rather than hanging on to our rocks of anger, fears, trauma, etc., we can take a look at them as we sail by. We do not need to hammer at them to get through them, or wrap around them to try to subdue them,. or hold on to them for dear life. We simply feel them as we experience them, and then keep on sailing down the river of life until the next waterfall or bunch of rocks in the stream. And then we repeat the process: experience, feel the emotion, let go, and sail on by to the next adventure.
