ECLIPSE SEASON: The next lunation on the calendar, a New Moon on October 25, is also a partial solar eclipse. In my way of calculating such things (other astrologers may have differing opinions), as of today's Full Moon (on Sunday, October 9), we are now entering eclipse season.
In these next two weeks leading up to the eclipse, it is especially important to clear, cleanse, detox, release ... all those practices we would normally consider helpful during the waning phase of the lunar cycle. However, eclipses carry a much deeper symbolism than "standard issue" lunations, since they invoke larger karmic themes, for each of us individually and for the collective. They also mark the completion of a six-month period that began with the last set of eclipses, back in April and May...
